Quick and easy paper crafts for kids might be just what you need if your little artists are short on time or patience. Paper boats, paper hats and paper aeroplanes are some of the simplest projects that kids will want to learn, whilst making funny puppets from paper bags might become a new favorite if you give it a try!
You will probably have some shop-bought sheets of paper in your craft cupboard already, but if you can add in a few other bits and bobs you will soon have a brilliant collection to inspire your paper craft projects.
Old newspapers or magazines, greetings cards, post-cards and wrapping paper are good materials to save. Spare rolls of wallpaper are also brilliant for lots of different paper crafts. Anything with an interesting texture, pattern or colour is worth saving if you have the space....it'll be sure to come in handy one day, I promise!

I have also included step-by-step instructions for some cute characters if you would like to follow a tried and tested project.
I have just added instructions for the cute alien pictured here, but check back soon for a furry teddy bear, a pink princess and a cheeky pirate.
