Pirate Crafts for Kids

Pirates and pirate crafts are always a popular choice in our house. When my two little ones play 'pirates' they don't need much help to create a fantasy world of sea-faring adventures. pirate crafts

They use the blankets from our sofa, spread out on the floor as a pirate ship and much loved, knitted sailor jackets (courtesy of their doting great-grandma) become their pirate costumes.

However, some simple craft projects can enhance their role-play world brilliantly. With a pirate hat, a treasure map and a trusty parrot, your little sea-dogs could sail the seven-seas all day, well....until tea-time beckons them ashore, at least!
